Walking School Bus Policy Gains Momentum in the community.

After a recent visit by National Public Health, Planning, and Transportation Consultant Mark Fenton who recommended daily activity in kids and adults lives. Parents of children attending Saint Benedict Catholic School have found a way to incorporate physical activity into their daily routines. The idea is not new, but is gaining momentum in communities as the need to get more daily, physical activity and decreasing traffic around schools.
Andrea Clements, LWLA Executive Director is currently working with Atchison Elementary School to do the same thing with parents and children.
